Items of Interest:
-Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to announce that The Hartes’ Club will be CLOSED for duplicate games from Wednesday, August 12 through Tuesday, August 25. We will reopen for duplicate games on Wednesday, August 26. Please note that Gail Greenberg’s class will run as scheduled and that the class fee will entitle students to one free afternoon game when the club reopens.
Gail Greenberg’s intermediate class will meet Monday mornings from 9:30-11:30. The $40 class fee per person per session includes free entry into the afternoon duplicate. The class will meet August 3, 10, 17, and 31.
-We have a 0-750 game on Monday afternoons at 1pm. Card fee: $16 per person.
-Club Championship Week: all games the week of August 10 will award extra points, no extra charge!
–North American Pairs Qualifying Games: we will hold these games the week of August 24. These games award half red and half black points!
-Game length: the Monday open game is 24 boards. All other open games are 20-22 boards in length. The 0-750 game plays 20-21 boards.
